  • Yes. When performed by a trained professional in a sterile environment, needle piercing is considered safe. We follow strict hygiene and infection-control procedures, using single-use sterile needles and high-quality jewellery suitable for initial piercings.

  • Pain levels vary depending on the individual and the piercing location. Most clients describe the sensation as a quick, sharp pinch followed by mild soreness, which usually settles shortly after the procedure.

  • The piercing itself is very quick, usually taking just a few seconds. Your appointment will also include consultation, preparation, aftercare advice and jewellery fitting.

  • Healing times vary depending on the piercing and individual healing response.

    • Earlobes: approximately 8-12 weeks

We also stock Happy Piercing Cushions, which are designed to provide ultimate comfort and protection during healing, particularly for ear piercings. These cushions help reduce pressure while sleeping (prevents migration) and can significantly improve comfort throughout the healing process.

  • We use high-quality medical grade titanium, suitable for initial piercings. Jewellery options will be discussed at your appointment to ensure the correct size and material is used for safe healing.

  • As with any piercing, there is a small risk of swelling, redness, bruising or infection. Following the aftercare advice provided will significantly reduce these risks. We will discuss all aftercare and what to look out for before you leave the salon.

  • Piercings may not be suitable if you have certain medical conditions, skin concerns, or are taking specific medications. Age restrictions apply, and valid identification may be required. All clients must complete a consent form prior to treatment.

  • You will be provided with full aftercare instructions following your piercing. This includes how to clean the area, what to avoid and how to support safe healing. It is important not to touch, twist or play with your new piercing during the healing process.

  • Jewellery should not be changed until the piercing is sufficiently healed. We recommend returning to the salon for jewellery changes to ensure this is done safely.

  • Piercing appointments can be booked online, by phone or by contacting the salon directly. If you are unsure which piercing to book, we recommend contacting the salon for advice.
